About PianoGrid

PianoGrid is an independent, browser-based piano reference and practice project for quick lookups, small learning tasks, and printable references.

What PianoGrid is

PianoGrid helps people look up piano notes, chords, inversions, scales, note frequencies, beginner concepts, and printable practice references without creating a PianoGrid account.

It is designed as a reference and practice site rather than a complete piano course. Song and sheet-music pages may point to third-party publishers instead of hosting the score itself.

Editorial responsibility

PianoGrid is built and maintained independently. The site creator is responsible for the product, code, and editorial integration.

When a factual claim needs outside support, PianoGrid names the source and, where useful, states what that source supports and what remains a PianoGrid editorial choice.

PianoGrid does not present itself as a music school, examination board, or sheet-music publisher, and it does not invent a fingering or extend a source beyond the range it actually supports.

How to read a PianoGrid reference

Start with the direct answer near the top of a page, then use the keyboard, table, or practice tool for the specific task. Source notes explain evidence boundaries when a detail such as fingering, octave placement, or an external edition needs qualification.
